Up for Auction is a 1982 FX500 Ascot in great condition ...Runs great, shitfs smoothly as it should, no smoke. I bought this from the second owner about two years ago and it has never been off-roaded or abused in any way over the years. I purchased this FX500 because it simply was the nicest original FX500 that I have seen. I have done some work on it. It is gararged and well taken care of. I will describe this Honda to the best of my ability,trying not to leave anything out. .....The body is all original parts and was re-painted last year with the original OEM Honda paint codes. The paint just shines. The tank is extremely clean and all the side covers are in great shape. Gauges all original and work as they should. The following items have been replaced or rebuilt, all with OEM Honda parts: Rebuilt front forks, new brake pads-both, rebuilt calipers -both, new choke cable, new tires(aprox 20 miles on them ), rebuilt carb, new points,hew front Master cylinder, battery, headers were replaced with another set of original stock that have the baffles intact with no rattle, the pipes it came with were a wreck ! Not original parts : new rear shocks and new seat. I have both of the original parts that will also be included with sale. They are in pretty good shape considering their age. This bike is not licenced and has a clear Virginia Title. Reserve has been lowered..............
