Putting my baby up for auction.. the only person who will miss her more than me is my 2 year old son who just loves going for rides in daddy's "bus". For anyone looking for one of these, this model has all the right parts.. the big 240 straight 6, HD rear axle, correct spring special side trim and is mostly original other than components that have been updated for improved reliability. I have owned this car for 1 year and have put a little over 5000 miles on it taking it to work, cruise nights, shows at the diner, home depot runs... just about anywhere as long as the weather was nice. This car starts and runs great, steering is better than any other vintage econoline I have ever driven and she's happy to cruise at 80+ on the highway. The column shifter is notchy and accurate like an old bolt action rifle and the brakes and clutch are so easy to use that my wife will occasionally borrow the truck for a grocery run. This car also includes 3 point seat belts and a set of 8 ball door locks to match the 8 ball shift knob. The heater blows nice and hot so you can drive it in the winter and thanks to plenty of ventilation you can enjoy the car all summer long. I've spend a lot of time and money weeding out failing parts and interior rattles.. now this truck is ready to find a new home where it can be enjoyed as much as it was in ours. $500 paypal deposit due with 72hrs of auction close.
