This is a standard 1974 VW Bug, last year of the flat windshield . This is not a super Beetle, much more rare! The little car runs well & looks pretty good. There are a couple of touch ups on the paint, ( pictured ) not really noticeable. From ten feet , it's beautiful. This mellow yellow classic Bug will need the following. New headliner, & maybe carpets. The seats, dash & door panels are great. All of the glass is good & I believe original to the car. The odometer is not accurate, so true miles are unknown. The motor has allegedly been rebuilt & it does run well. The next owner will more than likely want to replace the clutch cable, I believe it's a little stretched. You can drive & shift the car, but you have to shift from first to second slowly, otherwise it might grind. These are usually signs that the cable needs to be replaced. I believe there is a leak at the brake fluid reservoir, as I have to keep adding fluid. I would transport the car to it's new destination because of the brake fluid issue. I believe the brakes will need to be adjusted. The car is currently licensed through Oct 2016 in California. This car has very solid floors with no rust, the body seems to be very straight & clean. I bought this Bug to do a full restoration, as it has a clean canvas. We have since decided to move to a different city & I really have no where to store this car. The car doesn't really need a restoration, it only needs what I mentioned in the above paragraph & a few minor adjustments. This little Bug has had one repaint in the same factory yellow. If you transport the car , you are responsible for payment. I will need the car picked up within ten days of sale. I will require a $500.00 deposit with paypal immediately after winning, buying this car. $500.00 deposit Immediately after buying & balance within 72 hours, three days! the balance can be paid in person with cash, a certified cashiers check or the easiest a bank wire transfer.
