We bought this car at auction in February of 2014. It served us well until just a couple of months ago when things started to go awry. first, the battery died. No big deal, $80 at WalMart. A week later the timing belt broke. Again, no big deal. I ordered the parts and changed it myself. While I was at it I replaced the water pump, front seals and radiator, which had a slow leak. Afterwards it ran better than ever and I thought for sure we were good to go for a few more years. A couple weeks later the transmission went with no warning.A transmission swap or rebuild is more than I have the time, patience or equipment for. Other than the transmission, the car is in fantastic shape mechanically. The engine runs like new and, as mentioned above, there are lots of new parts under the hood. Cosmetically the car is a bit rough. Lots of body damage and bad paint. Interior isn't much better. Below is a list of anything that I KNOW is wrong with the car:Bad transmission. Yes, I am CERTAIN it is the transmission.None of the power windows work EXCEPT for the driver's.Bad paint and body damage.Rough interior.Cruise control doesn't work.Crack in lower passenger side corner of windshield (has been repaired and will not spread. Passed inspection).186K miles.Now for the good points:Engine runs GREAT. It seriously runs like new.Good cold AC.Driver's window works.NEW battery.NEW timing belt.NEW water pump.NEW front engine seals.NEW radiator.NEW FRONT TIRES and ALMOST NEW rear tires.4/16 inspection.Good CD deck with aux in and all speakers are good. Nice Sony speakers in rear. On Aug-31-15 at 17:04:25 PDT, seller added the following information: WILL NEED TO BE TOWED!
