Thanks for looking...if you follow the auctions you'll notice that prices for the finest professionally restored Triumph 650 twins have taken off. Now approaching, and in some cases exceeding $20k. That rising 650 tide has also lifted the prices for top 500 twins...a 1969 T100C sold for $15,500 at the Vegas auction back in January. If those prices are a bit too high for your vintage Brit bike budget...please consider this bike that will certainly sell for a fraction of that amount... A top professional restoration? Nope...but a pretty nice bike on it's own merit. A clean "rider" that hasn't been chopped up. I bought it mostly as it is about 5 years ago, but with other bikes in the stable I've ridden it very little. I've completed the following service to it:> Flush/change engine oil, gear oil, primary oil. Clean oil sump> New oil lines, fuel lines and inline filters> Adjust valves, Carb clean out, new air filter> New clutch plates, clutch trap door oil seal and gasket, clutch hub roller bearings and thrust washer.> New primary chain adjuster> Change fork oil, new fork boots> Replace Zenor diode/heat sink and rectifier with Tympanium solid state unit.> New ignition switch tumbler and rear brake light switch.> Tidy up some kluggy wiring and run seperate ground wire to taillight unit Take a look at the photos, they are considered part of the bike's description. As you can see, the paint, chrome, stainless fenders and alloy are in great shape. The bike is stored inside my home in a climate-controlled display area. The bike starts, runs, clutches, shifts, and runs as it should. No smoke. The odometer shows ~ 14,500 miles. I'll assume that is correct, but I have no way to verify that. Faults?> Obviously the tank is not painted the correct 1968 color. It is finished in a metalic British Racing green (which I happen to like) with a silver center stripe. The paint on the tank has some flaws: the right/front area below the gas cap has some blemishes...I've tried to show it in a photo.> The lower muffler is scratched on the bottom. This is not visable unless you lay down on the ground and look up at it...which is how I had to take the photo!> Like most vintage Brit bikes...it leaks a bit of oil when stored. Terms and Conditions:A $200 deposit via Paypal. The balance can be paid any number of ways. Cash always works...or a check, money order...whatever. JUST BE CLEAR THAT THE BIKE WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL ANY FORM OF PAYMENT OTHER THEN CASH (INCLUDING A "CERTIFIED" CHECK) CLEARS AS A DEPOSIT IN MY BANK. The bike is sold as-is, where-is, with NO warranty expressed or implied. The bike has a clear Michigan title still in a previous owner's name. It is signed and ready to be transferred to the next owner. I will also supply a Notarized Bill Of Sale. All shipping arrangements and expense is the responsibility of the buyer. I will not crate the bike for shipment. I will assist as best as I can with your selected carrier.I will also deliver the bike at NO charge to the Telford PA warehouse used by Federal/STI bike shipping. I have used them for a number of shipments with good results, and they give a discount for AMA membership and warehouse drop off. If you are shopping for carriers by ZIP CODE is 18972. I've tried to describe the bike as well as I can...please use the Ebay "Ask Seller a Question" function with any inquiries. Thanks for looking! On Aug-27-15 at 13:13:34 PDT, seller added the following information: As is noted on most of these auction listings...if you have zero feedback (a new first-time Ebayer) or negative feedback, please send me a brief Ebay email indicating that you are a legitimate bidder with the intention and ability to complete the sale if you are the winning bidder. I reserve the right to cancel any bid that I can not verify as authentic.Sorry for the inconvenience...long time Ebayers will certainly understand! On Aug-30-15 at 18:23:50 PDT, seller added the following information: To clarify...the 1968 T100C is a 500cc twin, with single Amal Concentric carb.
