This has been a southern car nearly its entire life and has been meticulously maintained and cared for. The car is powered by a 350 4 bolt main that has been turned into a 383 with all the best internals and machine work. The engine is dripping in chrome, better shine and easier to maintain than polished aluminum. 4 bbl edelbrock carb and performer intake, HUGE aluminum radiator, and an aux electric fan make sure your cruising is trouble free and heat wont be an issue! The car has a 180 degree thermostat and does not run hot, the electric fan was installed as a fail safe and for piece of mind should you find yourself stuck in heavy traffic while cruising. The motor couldn't run any better. It does not smoke, burn oil, tick, knock, or leak fluids. It fires just as quick as you turn the key, even after a week or two of sitting! After prolonged sitting she comes to life with just a single pump of the gas pedal and turn of the key. Behind the motor sits a TH350 automatic trans and a 10 bolt rear end with 3.73 posi gears. The trans functions as it should and there aren't any problems to mention. This car looks, sounds, drives, and handles great. Power steering and brakes make it just as easy to drive as she is to look at or listen to. The body is laser straight and fit and finish is great with good consistent even gap lines. The paint looks great, there are no dents dings or scratches in the car. I love orange, always have and probably always will, however im sure it isn't everyones cup of tea. The paint on this car really looks great, and it stands out. On both front fenders, maybe 2 to 3 inches below the top, there are a nice thin set of ghost flames that extend about a third of the way into the door. The flames are no more than 2 to 3 inches thick and done very very nicely. You can examine the photos extremely close but they are extremely difficult to see if the angle and lighting conditions aren't perfect. I tried to get them in some of the photos, but I don't think my efforts paid off....I love em, and wish they were more pronounced, but I didn't paint the car. I urge any interested bidders to come see how clean this car is, how nice the paint is, and at least attempt to get a glimpse of the ghost flames. Everything that has been done to the car has been done right. Its truly a vehicle you can buy and enjoy right away without having to worry about mechanical issues, wiring problems, or engine trouble. The floor pans, trunk pans, and frame are all in excellent condition. The car has NOT been beat on, abused, or used to smoke the tires. It has been a cruiser. Driven locally, out to get ice cream, driven to shows, taken to the dream cruise, and enjoyed. There are no secrets, nothing to hide, nothing covered up or edited in the photos....This is simply a good honest car hopefully to be sold to some good honest people who can enjoy it for years to come. Oh, I almost forgot, I do have the working AC compressor for the car I just never got around to putting it in.
