Vehicle Detail
1966 Plymouth Satellite 440 CUI 727 Torque flight. Car has been well cared for and maintained by professional race mechanic. The car has a completely new interior, seat covers, headliner, door panels, carpet, sun visors, window cranks etc. Everything was replace with period correct materials. Window glass is original and still has Chrysler insignia on them. ALL weather stripping is new. new period correct chrome exterior mirror. Front and rear bumpers are original and were rechromed by New England Chrome in the CT. I removed the moldings and rear trunk exterior panning to give the car a cleaner look. I still have the sail panel moldings, fender moldings, trunk panning etc, in good condition. All exterior lights are completely new, housings and lenses. Drivetrain has been gone through with compression test on the engine consistent within 2lbs per each cylinder. new Holly 650 CFM electric choke. Car has a moderate cam but is very drivable. Car has never bee raced, only driven to car shows and ice cream runs! New front power disk brakes were installed last year, front end and power steering box is completely new (see pics). Paint is a "frozen" silver with black accent stripes on the hood scoop and trunk lid/quarter panels. Car was painted about 10yrs ago however I had it professionally compounded and buffed by a restoration shop. Paint looks great and finish is very deep. (see pics). The car is a very solid car with no rust or rot in trunk, doors, floors, etc etc, car retains it's original sheet metal. There is a small amount of corrosion over the rear fender wells however nothing visible on the paint. The whole reason I bought this car is it's different! I didn't want another big block Chevelle, Camaro, or Cobra in the stable. I live in a HUGE car guy state and I've seen only one other around. Car has flow master mufflers and a that great "big block" Plymouth rumble. I have all receipts from the work that's been completed as well as progress pictures. I'm happy to answer any questions that you may have, no BS it's a great car. This car has been part of my small car collection for a few years but it's time to move on.
