Mercedes Benz CL-65 Coupe604hp, twin-turbo, 67k miles Up for sale is my 2006 Mercedes Benz CL-65 AMG, the top of the line four-passenger coupe in the MBZ line. It is an elegant, somewhat understated, high-end vehicle which I have used on a daily basis. It frankly gives you a good feeling to drive...people notice.There were only 194 of these built worldwide during the two-year run so you’re unlikely to see another example probably due to the sticker price of $181,000 when new, the most expensive car next to the MBZ SLR McLaren. As such it is completely loaded with luxury features including a burl wood dashboard, leather throughout, a fabulous sound system, heated/cooled/massage leather seats, doors that pull themselves closed, windows that close and seal themselves and sunshades on passenger and rear windows among other items.The exterior is also luxurious with the MBZ pillarless design characteristic of their high end coupes. Front tires are new with less than 1,500 miles on 19” AMG wheels, with massive 15” Brembo-caliper disc brakes on front and rear providing ample stopping power. You’ll be grateful for the computer-guided stability control and ABS braking as this is one powerful car.The engine is a 6.0 liter, bi-turbo V-12 putting out 604hp and 738ft/lbs and is handbuilt (and signed!) by a single technician in the factory. That is enough power to speed this solid luxury car faster than some Ferraris and Lambos and is the same engine as the 2015 12-cylinder models being sold today. This car has been maintained solely at MBZ dealers in Greenwich and Fairfield, CT. There are probably venues that are less expensive, but frankly, I wasn’t letting anyone else touch this car. Reliability is essential and I have done all the recommended maintenance on time, including all the expensive stuff like the two coil packs and spark plugs (24 of them!), the hydraulic suspension pump and valves, keyless go wiring, tires and alignment. This car is trustworthy and ready to drive cross country. I would be happy to pick you up at Westchester Country Airport (closest) or one of the NYC airports if you’d like to drive it home.
