FOR SALE 1953 PACKARD CONVERTIBLE PROJECT CARS: Rare Model 2679 Convertible Coupe. I believe it was called the Windsor model. Serial number is 26792919. Only 1,518 were made. This car has a very solid body as it came from out west. It is green in color. There is very little rust, only has some in the floors and around the back wheel wells. It has a complete top mechanism. Odometer reads 25,578 miles. Straight 8 engine doesn’t turn over. I have a clear title for it. It is a great start for building a really cool 50’s convertible. Could be original or a street rod. Clear title. The other car is a model 2695 Clipper 2 door serial number 26955835. It is a perfect parts car for the much more valuable convertible. Having both cars means most all the parts needed are there plus there are many extra parts to sell after the project is done. It is in fair condition but has some rusted out areas (floors and rockers). Straight 8 engine doesn’t turn over. Odometer reads 52011 miles. No title. The last 5 pictures are of the parts car which is included in this auction.There are lot and lots of extra parts including an extra grille from a 52 which has the tooth look if you prefer to street rod it. All the side stainless is there and in good condition. All the window frames are there. Have an extra dash.
