A spectacular performance car that features a flawless original black exterior paint job and a high quality black leather interior. The car is professionally detailed to show and there is no wheel rash or any other visual distractions due to neglect, age or wear and tear. One look under the hood of this car shows everybody how well this car has been maintained and taken care of. Mobil 1 oil changes occurred every 6 months whether the mileage called for it or not.This is NOT your basic garden variety VW GOLF and we know that most of the people looking at this auction will know much more about this scarce model Volkswagen than we do. This is a very special kind of car to start with. Then the owner added true factory (not repro) R32 (rear bumper & side skirts) and 337 Edition (factory front valance) ground effects along with the rear roof spoiler and Euro R32 bonnet bra. 18"OZ Aristo look-alike wheels wrapped with Hankook Ventus V12 EVO 225/40 ZR18 tires were just installed and have less than 100 miles on them! To complete the look a fresh stainless steel Milltek exhaust system helps to bring the mild custom look to the next level. We didn't want to load you down with pages of GTI VR6 statistics and features that you can easily access on the internet if you need too. The original factory window sticker is clearly featured in several of our images and that shows ALL of the many factory performance options that this car came with, so please take a moment to study those pictures to see all of the incredible extras that were included with this car. There is also a new red top Optima battery, so you can cross that off of your list of concerns too. The current owner (fanatic) keeps this car neatly tucked away in his garage under an expensive California Car Cover Co. cover that will also be provided to the winning bidder of this auction. As you would expect, all of the original paperwork, manuals, keys, fobs, wheel lock tool and other original equipment will be included with the car. There are also several sets of different seasonal floor mats that we have shown, receipts for most parts and repairs as well as a comprehensive HAYNES repair manual (not shown). The spare tire has never been out of the trunk.The car drives like magic and since it is equipped with the slick shifting 6 speed manual transmission it allows almost anyone to just get into the car and drive it like a champ. This car makes loads of power and is really a classic sleeper. We were really impressed driving this hatchback through a fast short road test and everything on the car works as designed. Intake air filters through a K&N filter and flows out of the custom Milltek sport exhaust system. It has a mellow note that allows the driver to really hear the engine working. At the Vintage Auction we are classic nit pickers and we were truly unable to find even the slightest flaw with this car. This is a used vehicle, but you'd need to be looking at new ones if you want something that is cleaner and more put together than this one. As with all of our eBay Motors listings we try to let our high resolution photographs tell the story about the vehicles that we are selling. All of the pictures you see were just taken by us and we have shots from many angles including the exterior, engine bay, full interior, and undercarriage. The glare was extremely intense the day we shot the photos, so you may see slight variations in the color and things that appear to be scrapes or scratches, trust us, there are none. We tried some different filters to cut the intensity of the shine, but this car is so incredibly polished it was like trying to take a picture of a massive wall mirror!!
