1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in Southern Maryland. Buyer must pick up from Great Mills, Maryland. We do not ship. The car runs and has less than 51,000 miles on the engine. It does have a lot of rust, but could be a great project car. It has been sitting outside for a number of years with no protection. Tires old but good rubber. All trim and stainless in tack, both inside and out. New radiator and exhaust. Brakes solid in good shape, I did rebuild the master cylinder. Power steering system in good shape. Mechanically sound, no major leaks. The rear tranny drive shaft seal is the worst. Glass is delaminating. The person I bought the car from believes I'm the 4th or 5th owner and that the miles are original. . ..got to believe that based on how smooth the car runs. Lots of rust, floors, trunk floor, inner and outer rockers need repair. Seats and door panels need to be redone. Bumper chrome pealed off probably minor pitting, but all sections original and on car with all the other external chrome and stainless trim, some still in great shape. Car located in southern Maryland, could be driven away, brake lights & turn signals all work fine. . ..though gas gauge doesn't work but the other indicators do.
