Vehicle Detail

This is a 1999 Chevrolet 1500 Express Explorer Limited SE custom conversion out of Warsaw, Indiana. I am the second owner of this van, my mother being the first. I purchased this from family after she passed in 2008. Since then we have only used it as a vehicle to haul our two Great Danes around. It’s worked well for that. The van has been regularly serviced and maintained by the same local mechanic in Clearwater, FL since 2008. Records would be available of the services after purchase. The vehicle condition is good. Mechanically everything is sound and functional. Known issues are: 1. A/C – It blows cold but it has a slow evaporator leak and has since I got it in 2008. Every 12 to 18 months I put one can of Freon in to top it off. It doesn’t take the full can. 2. There are (2) rust spots on the van. One is on the front left quarter panel down low. It’s about 1.5” x 1” long. The other is about ½” on the hood. See the photos. 3. The driver’s seat is showing the typical wear from where you get in and out on the side. The seats are generally in very good condition and comfortable. Both front captain’s chairs are power adjustable. 4. This van is big and my wife and I scraped up the ground trim/bumpers when we first purchased it until we got used to driving it around. We’ve cracked the fenders in a few places. They are minor issues and not very noticeable. See the photos. 5. It won’t fit in our garage and the roof is showing signs of the Florida sun. The clear coat is off in places on the roof. You cannot see it from the ground and the paint is still intact but fading where the clear coat is missing. See the photo. 6. The carpet has a few minor stains and the cabinets are fading. The photos don’t show this well, but it still looks good. The van runs strong, is very quiet and rides well. It’s a very comfortable ride. The tires have less than 3,000 miles on them. The battery is new. It has a lot of features that were top of the line in 1999. Dual stereos’ front and back with audio jacks, the front stereo has a CD player. This is not a Bluetooth stereo. It has a TV, DVD, VCR, dual A/C’s, the rear seat is a power folder couch that drops down flat into a bed, built in vacuum, quad captain’s chairs that swivel and are removable. The windows and mirrors are power. There are two remotes and one is a remote start. LED lighting is in the ceiling and walls. There are storage cabinets all the way around the roof conversion topper. Each window has a pull down privacy screen. There is a hanger bar in the back of the van for hanging clothing. Overall the van looks very sharp and runs well. It would be good as a daily driver or also to take camping as there is a lot of room inside. This van has never been in an accident. This vehicle is located in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg, FL area and must be picked up from here upon payment in full by cashier’s check. The paperwork is in order for sale including a clean title.
