1961 Buick Special - Selling No Reserve Up for bid is my 1961 Buick Special Deluxe Model. Has the original 215 Aluminum V8 and 2 speed automatic transmission. The engine runs perfect and does not smoke, has a new NOS carburetor that I paid over $500 to find. Transmission has no issues, shifts smooth and no slipping. The odometer shows 40,000 actual miles. I drove the car over 4K last year without a issue. Very nice driver in town and got 28mpg. Does have a vibration at hwy speeds which I though was a bad drive shaft but turned out to be a bent rim. Body looks good from 20ft. Has a 25 year old repaint with ghost flames. paint is cracking and pealing in a couple spots. Solid floors. Minor rust in a couple spots that I pictured. All gauges work but fuel gauge. Interior is all original and very nice except a tear in both seats. All glass good. Clean title in hand. I need to be contacted within 24 hours of the end of the auction and a $200 deposit is required within 24 hours. Full payment via cash or bank check within 7 days.
