Hi , this auction is for a 1996 BWM 328i convertible . It's in fair overall condition but needs a good bit of work to be a daily driver . It runs and drives , the motor is plenty strong and quiet and uses no oil , and the dual auto /manual transmission is good as well . It does have a major electrical problem and keeps burning a critical fuse ; it continues to run while the fuse is burnt but if it's turned off it won't start again until that specific fuse is replaced . It would be a good winter project for someone with more time than me . It has an aftermarket ground effects kit installed and slotted brakes on the front with factory wheels , a newer aftermarket top that is in good shape ; it goes up fine but needs manual help to close properly . The heater and A/C works , all the main electricals work that I know of , windows , door locks , headlights , turn signals etc. The paint is in poor condition with some clearcoat coming off and the interior is only fair condition as well , the leather is dried out and cracking and has a few small tears , and some of the interior panels are loose , but they are all there . The car was lightly wrecked on the front left and repaired by a previous owner , but not the best job and the fog light on that side fell off and was never fixed properly . The car (when it runs ) drives straight and smooth though and was a decent little car when the fuse didn't blow . Newer radiator and alternator , tires have very good tread , aftermarket cd player, and it will definitely need a battery . Clear title in hand . The car has not been driven in over a year and has been parked and will need an inspection before it can be driven , so will definitely need to be picked up in a tow vehicle or a car hauler / etc . for safety . It's more of a parts car in my estimation but someone with some time and effort could make a pretty solid driver out of it too I think .
