For Sale: 1983 Mustang GT, 5.0 (302) HO 4 BBL Carb 5 Speed Car. This is the first year for a 4bbl, 5 Speed. The car is super clean underneath, still factory undercoated. Paint is 7/10. Has flaws, original paint for a 32 year old car.Interior is the same. Seats could be re dyed, and the dash pad is cracked. Good thing is, all of these parts are available. I have owned the car just short of 5 years, came from Greece NY. Have contacted original owner that built the engine. Car is very lightly optioned. Only has sunroof, manual locks, windows, no tilt column. manual seatsEngine: Factory 1983 Short Block. 66 289 Heads, Roughly 10 to 1 compression.351 W Stainless steel Valves. Crower Roller Rockers, 1.6. Edelbrock Torker 2 Cam and Intake Combo, Holley 650 4 Barrel. Cyclone AR-1 Headers. Engine was built in 1986. Refresh in 2004. Could use a Tear down I'm sure. Runs very strong, but has oil leaks. Pulls 60 psi Oil pressure cold, 15 or so at Idle. Has a custom built H Pipe. With a 86-93 SLP Catback Loudmouth 2 kit. Comes with Resonators and Mufflers. Mufflers are currently installed in Car. Can swap back to Resonators with Ease, in a Hour or so. T-5 Trans Shifts Good. Pro 5.0 Shifter was put in about 4 years ago. AutoMeter Ultra Lite 2 Gauges were installed in the a-pillar about 3 years ago. Oil Pressure and Water Temp Gauges. Factory Gauges in Cluster do not work because of this. Has Maximum Motorsports full sub frame connectors welded in by Vanstrom Performance in North Collins. Also has Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace. Car has Sunroof and Factory Sunroof bag still in Trunk. 3.73 Rear Gears were installed in the 7.5 Rear End in 2010 as well. The paint is Decent, Body has a couple of dents in the roof, and in the rear quarters. The front bumper has a slight tear. I'm sure theres more I'm forgetting. This car needs to go to a good home. Car hasn't ever seen Winter. Been Driving car around. Has a Marti Report . Available to be seen at any time. I will not ship this vehicle, vehicle is to be picked up by new owner.
