This is a revision of an earlier post. I just returned from the mechanic with some unfortunate news- apparently the van (which is fine to drive now) needs about $2700 in repairs. Some need to be done soon, others can wait, but the bottom line is that a buyer would need to invest significant time and money into repairs. As a consequence, I will reduce the price of the van by the cost of the repairs plus $500 for a purchaser's time and inconvenience in getting the repairs done. So, now I am asking $14,799 for the van. In the interest of complete transparency, I have posted the estimate I received. I have removed the details of the mechanic who provided the estimate to avoid having numerous people contact them directly. I apologize for the confusion. General Description of 1997 Eurovan:* 2.8 Liter V6 Engine* Rear bench seat unfolds creating 84" x 43" bed* Pop top with roof vent creates 7' headroom inside and has 74" x 43" bed* Pop-top has canvas sidewalls and screened windows on three sides- there are no rips in the screens.* Operable pleated window shades on side and curtains for back and front windows* Reclining, rotating Captain Chairs for both front seats with adjustable arm rests* Removable center bench seat for two with seat belts* Height adjustable headrests for back bench seat and 3-point belts for 2 passengers* Screened power windows, mirrors and locks with remotes* Air conditioning* Smoke, Carbon Dioxide and LPG detectors * Has "gowesty" lift modification which raises the ground clearance and includes 16" x 7.5" wheels and Bilstein shocks. Includes 2" receiver hitch with 4 pin trailer electrical connection, front seat covers.* Norcal refrigerator has been removed and replaced with storage unit. Search for "Refrigeration: Built-in vs. Portable" and "gowesty" to read why this is a good thing. * Pop-top had a horizontal crack that was recently fixed by an expert plastic welder with experience doing Eurovan top repairs.* Clear title, recently passed Colorado emissions test.
