On offer here is one of the cleanest and most well sorted Volkswagen Beetle cabriolets which has been on the market in some time! This particular example is a 1971 model year car and it has never had any rust. The car has excellent, rust free floors which is a very tough to find in these old Beetles! The car is Beige in color and the interior is a beautiful light tan. It features a black top in excellent condition and the top is kept protected by a brand new black convertible top boot. All the guages work including the speedometer and the mileage which is currently shown is 22,805. We are unsure if that is the original mileage or not although the car is certainly a solid machine and we wouldnt be at all shocked if that was the original mileage. The engine has just had brand new seals put in it, a new carburetor, distributor, fuel pump, gas line, and generator installed, the valves were adjusted, heater tubes were replaced, and the oil was changed. In addition, the front brakes were totally gone through and brake drums, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, hoses, master cylinder, struts/shocks, and brake shoes were replaced. The car was then given a brand new wheel alignment and a new set of correctly sized tires was mounted to period correct NEW EMPI wheels! Cosmetically the car was been treated to a new tinted windshield, new rubber seal, and a new chrome front bumper. All in all, the car runs like a dream and is ready to go for a casual cruise or a cross country trip. It is stunning in terms of its mechanics as well as its looks.
