Up for auction is my pride and joy 2000 Ford Excursion with the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel engine that made these trucks the best of their time. I spent a ton of time looking for the right truck when I bought this one and went all the way to Tampa from Detroit to pick it up. I was not disappointed. I have owned this truck for 3 years now and am only selling because we got into camping pretty heavy and my wife really wants to upgrade to a 5th wheel now. The list of upgrades is extensive and if you are at all familiar with these trucks you will see that there is not much of anything left to do but run it the way it was built to be run. OEM turbo was removed and replaced with a GT38R ball bearing turbo, EBV delete pedestal, bellowed up pipes, as well as 4" exhaust from turbo to muffler. Cat is gone but muffler was left in place to keep the racket down some. A Tymar intake as well as 6 position TS chip keep the tunes in line, this also disables the PATS so there is no intrusive anti-theft to worry about. That also means you can get a key cut anywhere instead of paying the stealership a ton of cash to program etc. Truck has a 6" lift, Rancho adjustable shocks at all four corners, Firestone air bags in the rear, and a Hellwig swaybar in the back to make up for the one Ford decided to skip putting on these things for some reason. I also ditched the crappy unitized bearings that fail every 20k miles and installed a set of spyntech hub conversions in their place. If you are not familiar with these, do a google search. This upgrade was 2 grand and is an absolute must for a truck you expect to not leave you stranded. I had both driveshafts were custom made by dyno-tech engineering and this thing cruises down the road silky smooth as a result. There are no crazy drive shaft angles, which is one area many people skimp when doing even a moderate lift on their trucks. Not this one though... everything has been built right. Axles are running 3:73 gearing and with the 35" tires highway speeds are a fuel sipping 1500rpm running 70mph. The 20" rims are made by Fuel and rubber that's wrapped around them are 35x12.5x20 Toyo's. These are the ones to have and work excellent in any weather. Its not been off road since I've owned it, its been a pavement princess so to speak aside from some snowy winters. Truck has been in Michigan for just 3 years and body is rock solid. This was my daily driver, advertising show piece/service truck for my Low Voltage cabling company so some of the pics you see show the storage compartment I built as well. It's included if you want, but 3rd row seat is in right now in it's place. Interior has all the normal stuff, upgraded stereo head unit with ability to tie in a rear view camera if you want. Seating is for 9 and the front seat is from a Lariat to gain the arm rest you lose with a center console. Front and rear air as well as heat work flawlessly. Truck also has onboard air with a Viair pump plumbed completely in as well as some train horns mounted underneath. I feel like I'm forgetting some stuff, but at this point you should get the jist. Truck was built right and is turn key ready to go anywhere. I just got back from with it a few weeks ago, an 1800 mile road trip with it so have no reservations on its road worthiness.
