What are you bidding on? -1993 Suzuki VX800 -Good Engine-Carbs have new diaphragms!-Good Tires-Good frame-Clear Title-Not wrecked! So what's the deal?The bike was a good, running, VX800 when I lived in Maryland. We moved to Tennessee, and the bike was in dry storage while we moved and settled in. But modern fuels are hygroscopic (absorb water from the atmosphere) and the tank became rusty. Rather than buy another VX tank, I began the process of adapting an aluminum tank from a BMW K750. I got fairly far along, but have lost interest in the project (OK, really I've lost time). We are in the process of moving again (still in TN) and the bike is in the way. My loss is your gain and all that. VX800 engines seem to sell for $400 to $600 dollars. As such, I am selling this as though it were just an engine (bidding starts at $400) with a "Buy It Now" of $650. Remember, this nets you a good engine, but with all the other parts! Have a VX that needs an engine but has a good tank and rear bodywork? Buy this one, swap over your good parts, and part out your old bike. Or, if you can weld aluminum, finish the tank swap. Clear Tennessee title to go with the bike! Note: I am in the market for a nice Suzuki GS500(E or F). If you have one, I am open to working out a deal where I trade you this bike plus cash for your GS. Pick up in Lenoir City, TN, near Knoxville, TN
