Runs and drives, Ac blows ice cold, but think it has a rod knock-started it the other morning and it started making a noise-driven less than one mile since it started making the noise.Have records of maintenance from most it's life-was maintained by Chevy dealership most of it's life. Always had oil changes done on time. Recent tranny service (filter and performance fluid), recent AC service with new accumulator for 134a, new cv axles, new front driveshaft, new alternator, newer offroad capable tires, and aftermarket fog lamp upgrade. Never broke down,overheated and has served our family very well-this is the ultimate family hauler and great for camping and moving too, as the back 2 bench seats are removed very easily, turning it into a cargo van instantly. Super comfy captains chairs with swiveling armrests up front. Heater works great, all lights work, ac blows cold, and drove and handles amazingly well for it's age. Shocks are still great, and steering is still pretty tight and accurate, alignment is good. Interior is in amazing condition-always get compliments. No one believes it's a 1990! Passed emissions last year and still good in this state through April 2016.Has tinted windows, great glass and windshield have no cracks,handles well, and was our car of choice when the snow hit-excellent traction in the iciest of conditions and put my Audi A8 Quattro to shame, thanks to it's firm AWD system, and awesome 30" Firestone Wilderness All Terrain tires. Was always great for camping and could lug all our gear and leave plenty of room, comfy on long road trips. The 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission was always well maintained and shifted well, and overdrive helped give great gas mileageThis vehicle should serve you well for a long time, as long as you take care of the rod knock. And you'll likely win this Astro for far less than we have invested in parts alone in the past year.
