1981 Honda CR

Salvage

Up for auction is a 1981 Honda CR250. Overall the bike is in decent shape and 100% complete. I do NOT have a title for the bike, bill of sale only. This was the first year that these were liquid cooled. The bike starts easy and runs good. It shifts through all the gears. It does have some piston slap, so could use a new top end in the future. The intake boot is torn, but i believe it is the wrong one anyway, as the carb does not match up to the airbox correctly.All the plastic is in great shape, but has been painted black. The engine has also been repainted black. It does need a new seat cover. The front brake works but needs adjusted. The rear brake is not hooked up, it is missing a pin on the actuator arm. The tire are in ok shape. Overall this is a great bike to restore for you collection, fix up and vintage race, or just ride around as it is.
