Vehicle Detail
This is a Driver where as it has cosmetic flaws. Mechanically this car is sound. I would drive it across country. I drive it weekends.Tork boxes solid, There is a patch on the drivers side rear floor was just screwed in and a patch welded in the trunk passenger side by previous owner All other floors are solid, Driver side 1/4 panel was replaced passenger side looks original. All metal Not full of bondo. This car was manufactured Jan.6th 1968 which may explain the 1967 1/4s. Like I said this is a driver not a show car by no means but can be with some effort to make correct or into a street rod. It turns heads and I get comments everywhere I go though. It is a numbers matching 289 2 bbl.engine and C-4 trans. Dash has NO cracks. All gauges, lights, electrical work flawlessly. Interior is all original except for the steering wheel and kick panels the original kick panels were cracked. I have New dash plastic pieces for the glove compartment and center but not needed, lower side aluminum trim, Wheel well trim, Also I'm including a vinyl top and trim all are uninstalled. All are brand new from CJ Pony. Cap, Rotor, Wires, Carb, Gas tank, Tires and rims all new. Fairly new paint( previous owner said the car was painted 2 to 3 years ago)This car runs like a Swiss watch. Odometer says 19,XXX which means 119,XXX but it runs smooth and not a hint of smoke , Rockers are clean, Which leads me to believe the engine may have been rebuilt at some time or meticulously maintained. Drives down the Parkway at 70 mph no problem drives strait, brakes strait. All 4 drum brakes rebuilt and adjusted with new parts and installed. Previous owner didn't install brake adjusters nor did the brakes correctly. I myself rebuilt and adjusted them now they work great. The value of this car according to all the classic car price guides, Hagerty, Nada, Kelly Blue book all have a value in it's present condition of between $16,000 to $25,000. respectfully. I'm just looking to break even with what I've invested in the car. Vin is in listing and build plate pic is in pictures look it up. Thank you for looking and happy bidding :)On Jul-28-15 at 14:37:41 PDT, seller added the following information: The Mustang is offered locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time if the Vehicle is sold locally. On Jul-28-15 at 15:15:35 PDT, seller added the following information: See new pictures I posted of the floor. The last 2 pictures are of the patch on the left rear floor that was screwed in. Like I said tork boxes are solid, all other floors are solid except for the one patched area.
