Registered in PA then shipped by covered flatbed to Cypress, California. Upon arrival the Beach Rover was inspected and tuned up by Britalia Import Auto in Fullerton, California. Britalia verified the Beach Rover was in excellent condition (frame and body) and in very good working order. The Beach Rover was registered and insured in California. Excellent highway manners, reached and maintained 60 MPH easily Phase II The Beach Rover was shipped to Dallas, Texas (registered/insured) and the second phase of its life began. British Leyland, of Lewisville, Texas stripped the Beach Rover to its metal and repainted the car inside and out, Chili Pepper Red with Light Grey accents. All interior and exterior Galvanized steel was exposed and restored. The final key was replacing the whip-lash original seating with grey leather seats to match the new light grey interior. Now the Beach Rover’s beauty is matched with safety and comfort. Phase III With three young children lack of time for TLC is the issue. This beautiful Beach Rover needs a new owner for its next 25 years. Approximately 48,000 original miles. Inline 2.25 liter gasoline engine with 4x4 4 speed Manual transmission.
