I am selling this slick, black mustang 67, "S" code because my daughter is heading to college this fall. I have owned it for the last 4 years. I have tried to restore to its original glory with minor upgrades. Body: the car has 95% of the original sheet metal, quarter panels, rocker panels, doors, fenders, trunk; all original and rust free. Zero bondo. Front frame rails and rear frame rails, including the truck floor, are rock solid with no issues at all. Aprons are 100% original, with the VIN number stamp on both sides of the aprons. One of the upgrades on the body is the torque box that was installed to the passenger side. The only repairs I had to do were on the floor, including one small patch on the rear passenger side, and a medium size patch behind the driver's side. I did not have to replace the entire section. Other than that, the floor is original and solid. The paint job is one year old with no scratches and a glossy finish. It looks absolutely fantastic as you can see in the pictures. Drive train: it is 390 with 4 barrels, the engine was rebuilt 4,000 miles ago according to the previous owner. The engine runs strong and powerful. It is hooked to Magna Flow mufflers and 2 1/4 inch pipe. Transmission is top speed top loader, no problems whatsoever. A mechanic inspected it to make sure that it is in optimum condition. Rear axel is 9" with a 3.25 radio 3rd member. Suspension: the coil spring is new, the lower control arm was replaced, upper bolt joint, inner and outer tie rods kit was changed,strut rods bushing kit, new front shocks and new coil spring shocks in the back. Brand new Carlite windshield. The rest of the glass is original all the way around (hence the scratches on the passenger's window). Interiors: upholstery is brand new(front and back seats), head liner brand new, door panels brand new, carpet brand new including the back fold down seat. Instrumental dash panel brand new, dash pad new. The quarter panel interiors are in excellent condition and they don't have any speaker cuts to speak of. The rest of the interior panels are in superb condition with out any cuts. Trap doors are in excellent condition with 4 tiny holes (you can tell in the picture). Weather strips are new all the way around. Brakes: this black beauty has front disk brakes, and drum in the back which are in pristine condition. Chrome: great condition, some being brand new. I tried to describe this car as honestly as possible. I priced this car to what I believe is fair.
