This is a very clean 1983 911 SC chassis equipped with a wonderfully balanced and powerful 275 HP 1988 race engine. Built by air cooled performance master Bob Farmer in Indianapolis IN. This car is a fantastic track day, competitive race car, or a perfect starting point for an amazing street car hot rod!! I've owned this car for nearly 11 years now and I'm just not racing it enough. The last three years it has only been out a couple of weekends. Seller has clean title in hand so this car could be returned to street use. This car has DOT windows, and headlights, tail lights, and rear turn signals operating. The front signal lights are removed to improve air flow, but could be replaced in open space provided in bumper fascia. Only driver side has windshield wiper. NO HVAC, NO Stereo (this is a racing car) Those items could be replaced, but the parts are not provided by the seller. Chassis is rust free and straight!! Everything about this racing car is done properly. Current PCA log book indicating car specs out as GT5S. The suspension is dialed in and fully sorted. Custom shortened and custom valved Bilstin shocks. Elephant racing sway bars and turbo torsion bars. Custom brake cooling duct work is in place from the cut out in the IROC front splitter all the way to the front rotors. The last race this car ran it took 3rd at Mid Ohio in GT5S. Everything on this car is set up for speed and durability. The oiling system is amaaing..two front mount oil coolers, custom oil tank, high capacity racing oil filter, and the world renown Porsche dry sump. At idle this car has a loopy thump that sounds like it is ready to rip the pavement loose! At wide open throttle it sings like an opera star! There is no rust, nothing bent, door and hood/bonnet gaps are very true. Paint is in good shape with only a few stone chips (very light especially for a competitive car). This car is outfitted with all the proper racing/track safety equipment Sparco racing seats, Rennspeed Tow hooks F&R, Full Steel welded roll cage, drivers window netting, Team Tech harnesses, Halon Fire suppression system, Ignition cut off switch, 27 Gallon fuel cell, Sparco quick release steering wheel for easy entry and exit from the car, special balast mounting hardware and custom balast plates to dial in the car for weigh in at the track. This car is going out with three sets of wheels..and tires. One set of sticker Hoosier R7's mounted, balanced and ready to qualify! ($1500 for just that set of tires!) One set of Hoosier R6's with one track day on them. One set of Fuchs rims (with old rain tires that should be sent for recycling and replaced.) The interior features Brand new light weight RS America carpet kit and brand new RS America door panels. There is a crack on the dash top, otherwise the interior is AMAZING and in very good condition. Shipping within the continental US can arranged by seller if the buyer needs assistance coordinating that process. Shipping cost to be paid by buyer directly to the shipping/transport company.
