I have had this for about 4 months just too custom for my wife’s liking so we made it into a flat white shop truck for someone or a paintable truck that has various forms of direction . DRIVE TRAIN: 1957 Chevy Pickup runs great with a 454 Big Block motor and a Turbo 350 transmission. Rear differential “Appears to be “ a 1957 with 4:11 gears is a ½ C- knotch to the Original 57 frame ( easy to put back stock NOT CUT ENTIRELY THRU THE FRAME ) The motor features Edelbrock carb , and aluminum intake , 8mm plug wires Chrome valve covers and smooth air ride is REAR ONLY . I was told that maybe 2 sprngs were removed form the front for a lowered look.BODY: it is a 1957 Title and Original VIN TAG however it was fitted with 1958 Front clip. We aligned the front end, bought new Fenderwells , new hood hinges and springs and now it fits opens and shuts nice. We did remove all the glass and soda basted the window channels (NO RUST see pictures) sanded and primered the entire truck EPOXY White so you can leave it or continue with bodywork and paint from here. Replaced NEW windshield new back window rubber new side window rubber and new passengers side Chrome wing window frame glass and rubber. We also fabricated the removable Bed axle Cover out of 18 gauge steel. It is sheet metal screwed to the bed floor and seam sealer on the sides, We then we applied textured professional spray in bed liner (Black) in the bed (see Pictures) Custom tailgate, caddy tail lights and Arizona Rust free body which has some nice custom touches to set it apart from any other 1957 truck. We considered putting the correct front clip back on but it is unique and fits nice so i thought we would try selling it is as the ways you see it first. Firewall has been smoothed out and is satin black Urethane. We urge you to have a pre-inspection or come by and test drive this truck as it is a 1957 very old truck. Wheels are "Dayton Style" True Spoke Wire wheels with Knock off centers that are removed using a special tool included and (Still available to purchase) uses adapters that are bolted to OEM 6 hole factory hubs easy to remove and very hot sellers. A few rim nicks not flawless good wheels no pitting. Tires are as follows: Right Rear Tire made in 2011 = 8/32 Tread. Left Rear Tire made in 2011 = 8/32 Tread, Left Front Tire made in 2011 = 6/32 Tread Light Dry Cracks in Side wall, Right Front Tire made in 2011 = 8/32 Tread Light Dry Cracks in Side wall.Truck does have a few small drips over time from sitting and rear air suspension does deflate after a few days without driving. Will consider trade for the following hot rods, street rods: 1969 1970 Chevelle, 1969 1970 Roadrunner or Charger , 1966 or 1967 Chevy II, 1968 or 1969 Camaro, Must be mostly complete and RUST FREE cars , drive train NOT running good and dents on body parts are OKAY, NO RUSTY cars as in Arizona New Mexico or Western California Nevada Texas cars are fine. Would also consider any 2003 or newer 2500 or 3500 Dodge Ram fleet side or Dually quad cab or 4 door truck with under 100K miles and the paint and bodywork are NOT important , however; must be mechanically excellent. Anything we trade for must have clean and clear title.
