you are looking and bidding on a very nice easy fixer 71 chevelle body is very solid only rust I see is bottom of fenders could get by with just lower patch panels original GM.. the vinyl top looks nice no signs of rust under it seems very solid solid around rear glass as well the story behind this car is it sit in garage for 20 plus years tore apart to be restored and never got there.. the man passed away and the guy I bought it from put it back together as it sit un restored.. when he pulled the gas tank he found the build sheet still pretty much in tack and readable every thing on the car works even the door buzzer when key is in the ignition.. the engine is suppose to be original as well.. has a GM steel cowl hood straight no rust needs to be adjusted better to line up with fenders and headlight doors. have new carpet a little dirty from laying around but never installed.. i bought this car to restore but due to health reasons myself its not going to happen.. I have other chevelles and tons of parts if buyer comes to pick up car and is interested in others but what you see is what you get in this auction.... thanks for looking and good luck bidding
