Bike is titled & currently registered in my name. Also has current state inspection sticker. I've had it for about two years as part of a collection of vintage bikes. During this time its been ridden for a little over 100 miles. Its ridden occasionally so it may have more miles when its sold. I purchased the bike from a bike shop that had gone through the engine and replaced the crank seals + some other parts. The bike has the stock air box with a stock air filter that had recently been replaced. I updated the electrical system with a modern regulator/rectifier & an AGM battery. Also replaced the petcock with a new stock vacuum petcock. The paint & chrome is quite good for the bikes age, as shown in the pics. There are two defects of note that are shown in the pics: 1) the tank has a dent on the right side near the handlebar. The bike shop said that was because a previous owner had dropped the tank & was not due to being laid down. 2) the back of the right muffler has chrome peeling in the area facing the rear wheel. The bike is fairly well sorted. The bike is kickstart only & starts with just a few kicks. The bike runs good, but please bear in mind that its a vintage two stroke & not a modern fuel injected bike. If you buy the bike, please consider that it hasn't been very many miles since major engine work & the motor should be given an opportunity to break in. The tires are in good condition, but could use balanced. As I haven't put many miles on the bike, some other additional sorting may be necessary. Please be mindful of the fact that the bike is nearly 40 years old & does not have any warranty. I'm selling the bike to make room for a sweet Suzuki GT500 that I'm considering. I may withdraw this listing if that deal falls through before bidding reaches the reserve price on the GT250. If bidding reaches the reserve price, I'll let it sell here unless its sold locally.
