Ready to ride. I bought this from a friend who mechanically went through the whole bike from the crank up. I fogged the motor and stored it for 2 or 3 years. Got it out recently, cleaned carb, fresh gas, and rode it a little around home. Took it for a weekend of trail riding and went through about 4 gallons of gas. I dont have time or room for it and would rather pass it along to someone wanting a 480 vs putting it back in storage. It was a blast to ride, I cleaned it up and installed the number backgrounds and Honda tank stickers. Im not a serious collector, I cant tell you what is all OEM and what is aftermarket but I can tell you what I think if you ask. Better yet, come check it out. I am 2 1/2 hours southeast of RedBud and 2 1/2 hours west of AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. It starts right up cold with a specific technique, then it needs one full kick after tdc. Not rocket science but it wont start otherwise. I consider it in really good shape. No cracked cases, wheels are straight, no pinched frame tubes, sub-frame is straight, pipe isnt caved in, forks dont leak, linkage is soothe, tires were new at time of rebuild. Cash in person.
