for sale here is a 1998 chevy k3500 with 88k miles on it. It runs very well and drives very well but there is an issue with the transmission. The transmission shifts through all the gears fine but sometimes while on the highway shifts itself out of overdrive. If you pull over shut it off and start it back up, it shifts fine til it does it again. It may happen a few times throughout the course of an hour while on the highway or it may not happen at all. Around town it does not happen at all and shifts fine. Worst case scenario the transmission needs to be rebuilt. There is a transmission slip code on the computer. I have put a tremendous amount of money into this truck and dont want to put anymore into it. It has a new motor, new fuel tank fuel pump, all new brake lines, new calipers, new control arms, new alternator, battery, too much stuff to list. There is no rot at all on this truck and it is super clean. The frame is in beautiful condition. There is some body damage in the rear right quarter panel of the truck. I am open to offers, if you repair the transmission this would be a great truck.
