Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1970 Chevy C-10, long bed. Chevy 350, automatic trans. Runs and drives great. It passed Virginia safety inspection last couple years and I'll get it inspected again prior to sale if buyer wants. I've owned this truck for a little over 3 years. Purchased it from a classic car dealer in Kansas. It had been a full frame-off restoration several years before that and has been driven very little (I put about 2,000 miles on it). Paint is still in great condition. The only blemishes I can find are a small chip on the edge of the door, scratch on top of the tailgate and a 2 small chips on the cowl vent. I have the paint codes needed for matching. All metal, no rot, and the undercarriage is clean. All body panels are 100% straight and there are no dents - not even in the inside of the bed, which is uncommon. This probably isn't a show truck, but if you're looking for a C-10, this is one of the nicest drivers you will ever find. Someone spent a LOT of money restoring this to basically stock condition. It's NOT a hot rod and hasn't been all cheesed out with aftermarket accessories. Everything works except the AM radio. The 350 engine is not the original based on what I can tell by the casting number, but it's period correct and was rebuilt when the truck was restored. Odometer reads 5,095, but actual mileage is unknown. I have a few receipts for the minor work done since I owned the truck. The work was done by the professionals at Black Wolf Automotive in Woodbridge VA. I'm pricing this to sell it - there's no reserve on this auction with a $9K minimum bid. The truck is listed locally for $14,000 so I reserve the right to end the auction early if I get a strong offer. Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for bidding. Drum brakes all the way around with plenty of life left in the shoes. custom diamond plate rear bumper set up for tow hitch, although I never towed anything with this truck. The work was done by the professionals at Black Wolf Automotive in Woodbridge VA. The following work has been done to the truck since I owned it: 1. remove high-torque mini starter and replace with original style 2. replace Quadrate with a refurbished one from National Carburetor. Installed new stainless fuel line from pump to carb. I'll include the old Q-jet with the truck if you want it...the threads on the fuel inlet are stripped, but other than that it works fine. 3. new front wheel bearings 4. Line-X spray-in bed liner 5. The truck only had lap belt seat belts when I bought it. I installed shoulder belts - repro of the originals and they're mounted to the pre-existing threaded holes in the roof pillars.
