1958 FORD FAIRLANE SKYLINER FOR SALE!!! For sale is the nicely restored 1958 Ford Fairlane Skyliner. The restoration was completed 5 years ago and shows well. The 352ci Police Interceptor runs strong with no smoke or noises and easily move the Fairlane down the road. The transmission shifts perfectly and the Fairlane stops with ease on newer Michelin tires. The restoration included rebuilt engine, interior, and paint. I bought the car from a member in the local car club and have had no problems in 3 years. The retractable hard top functions normally, but during cold weather please note that it is slower due to the grease in the gears being cold. The original 1958 hubcaps (1957 hubcaps currently on car) come with the car along with the grill center piece which is in good condition - I removed the T-bars/emblem to give a more aggressive look. There is a crack in the driver side window (see pictures) and the following items need attention: Radio - original but does not work Clock - original but does not work Power steering - leaks when stored over the winter The Fairlane gets a lot off attention and brings smiles to everyone's face when the top goes through it's full cycle. Please view the attached pictures as I have documented all angles, trunk and engine compartment as well as a full cycle of the top. The car is located in Walled Lake, MI and has been to several car shows this year when the weather's nice. This vehicle has a clear title and is sold as is with no warranties.
