Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 2003 Acura TL-S. It is a "as is" auction. I will try to not miss anything that is wrong with the car but at this point I have lost track. The car would make a good "beater" as it refuses to stop running. Never once did it even stall on me. Turn key and GO! Engine and trans are strong (as you can read about in the description). I changed the timing belt and put new sparks plugs in at 120,000. I replaced the transmission at 100,000 miles. I have changed her synthetic oil every 6,500 miles too. The breaks vibrate a little, not sure why, may need rotors cut... I think a few years ago I bent a front axle, when accelerating up until 50 mph there is a small vibration in the steering wheel. I drove it like that for four years! and it never got worse and never was signifigant enough for me to wanna do something about. Tires will need to be replaced soon. Not sure about front brakes, back brakes were done not to long ago, Car was in a small accident and left side bumber had to be zip tied back together and tip of fender is dented. car has its share of stratches and dings too, and as I noted in the description there is a small amount of rust bubbles on the left rear fender well. I know it sounds bad, but i'm not holding back any details... The car really is a joy to drive. Handles great and is pretty fast! Interior is not in too bad of shape. No real rips in the leather and it shines up nice. Think there is one small rip in the back seat from when I use to have a baby seat buckled in. maybe 2 inches long if that... Stereo sounds awesome! I don't think the cruise control work anymore, and the ABD and VSA have stopped working (which basically means that it is just like any other car made in the 1990's, and NJ inspection does not care about ABD or VSA. Just engine lights and emitions).I actually was not planning on selling it. I am a college student and travel 1 hour to school each day and was going to use it as my commuter, but I don't have time or $ to fix it so it can pass inspection. Really was hoping to see her pass 200,000 miles :-( of yea, windshield a two chips in the glass that I know of. I did get a chip kit so they should not spread. They are the size of a nickel or so. also the glasses holder was taken apart and was not put back together so its missing... I'm sorry if I left anything out. any questions please feel free to email. She will make an awesome commuter car, a great, a great fixer upper, or just a great reliable car to get around town with.
