Up for sale in a collection is a 1931 Ford Model A that has had two owners in its time. Purchased in 1953 from his sister for $100.00 because she had a nicer Model A then him this Ford Coupe has stayed in Williams possession ever since. Model A was purchased new in Los Angeles and has always been in Southern and Northern California.Body has never had any patch panels or repair, only having one repaint in early 90's. Painted gloss white body with gloss black steel fenders. All steel car. Mechanically brakes that work perfect and emergency brake that works as well. All glass is nice and front windshield pushes out easy. Door glass rolls up and down easy as seen in video. Stock interior with nice cover over comfortable bench seat. All gauges work well along with lights.Engine has approximately 7700 miles on drive train as speedometer reads 97700 and motor was rebuilt at 90,000 miles. Motor upgraded with new bearings, larger valves and pulls extremely well. Has 6 blade plastic fan on it that keeps it cool. 12 volt. Stock suspension with an early 40's electric overdrive that works perfect. Driving at 35-40 mph you simply hit the with to turn on the overdrive, left of the gas and pull the overdrive cable to engage. Coupe will easily drive 45-55mph down the highway without motor over revving. Stock banjo that goes well.Tires are 6.00/16 Coker on 16" wire rims.Comes with accessory temp cap on top of radiator, along with chrome cover over spare tire. Also has older chrome luggage rack at rear under spare tire that pulls out.
