This 1972 VW Super Beetle has loads of character , Please read entire ad. The car runs very well & looks pretty cool in it's original patina. The car has it's original paint. There are a few primer spots that were applied over totally flakey paint. There is a quarter size acid hole under the battery, this is a common issue with old bugs. The floors are solid, the heater works, the radio works ,the interior looks good & the body is straight, there are a couple of dings but nothing to indicate any accidents. This Bug does have it's quirks sometimes you have to giggle the ignition to start it, but it always starts first time every time! The Bug has a good stance & feels good when driving. The tires are good & the wheels look good even though they have some small areas of top rust. The top of the back bumper is rusty, as are the tailpipes This Bug is super solid & drives down the road very well, at exactly 55 mph there is a slight shimmy & it's only at 55mph anything over or under & it's non existent. The interior looks great , the front seats were just upholstered & the dash replaced. The front door panels are new as well. The purist may want to replace the headliner as it has a couple of tears. The carpets are still pretty good & I believe original to the car. I am to believe that I'm the third owner of this car. The last owner paid 12k for this car 11 yrs. ago & his wife was the only driver. The Bug has always been adult owned. By no means is this Bug a perfect car, it is a very good little car that will give someone a lot of pleasure, and could easily be restored to original condition. The car has good bones. Pre inspections are encouraged. The winning buyer needs to place a $500.00 deposit via paypal immediately after winning this car, if you can't do that then don't bother biding ! The balance is due within 72 hours, three days... Balance to be paid via certified funds or bank transfer. No scams , no cons, no Bull---t any questions please ask. Paypal is for deposit only!
