Runs Great! Needs Water Pump. When I first bought this it had 289,000 miles on it. It needed a turbo so the turbo has been replaced. It has always been fast and yet gets 45+ mpg. This was our main family car and has always been dependable. I had the injector pump replaced at 325000. It has small dent in front right Fender. Hood clear coat is pealing. Some surface rust shown in pictures. Drivers seat has small hole as shown in picture. Sunroof works great. Can still be driven but you have to carry water with you. Nice thing about Volkswagens are the coolant fill bottle will flash temp light and let you know it is low before running hot. AC needs compressor in order to work. The last time I had it recharged it was barely cold. Heater core hose attach pipe is cracked. Currently bypassed with metal tube. I used electric heater in winter...not for the long trips in winter. Passenger front door latch only works from inside only. Passenger rear window doesn't work. I think that is it. Battery is just a year old. It will be due for timing belt which can be done when fixing water pump. I have a quote for $450 for water pump timing belt and pulleys installed. It has been sitting since March when water pump started leaking. It starts right up and runs great. $100 deposit due 24 hours after auction closes. Full payment due in 7 days after auction. Can be picked up anytime within 30 days after auction.
