I served 20 years in Japan with the US Military and purchased this bike on June 10, 2007, in Kanagawa, Japan. A full Yoshimura exhaust system was installed by Pop Yoshimura at his factory in Atsugi, Japan. All maintenance was performed by Japanese professional motorcycle technicians. The best thing about the GSX-R 1000 is that it has the 3 engine mode selections to limit or increase horsepower. It's like having 3 bikes in one. You can set the engine for 600, 750, or full 1000 throttle response. This bike has several modifications to include: POWER COMMANDER RACE SPEC SPORT BIKE HIGH FLOW AIR FILTERS YOSHIMURA FULL RACE EXHAUST FRAME SLIDERS/ OIL COVER PROTECTOR CARBON FIBER GSXR REAR HUGGER CARBON FIBER WINDSCREEN CARBON FIBER MIRRORS CARBON FIBER CLUTCH/BRAKE LEVERS CARBON FIBER TANK PROTECTOR MADE IN JAPAN FENDER ELIMINATOR WITH HINGED LICENSE PLATE HOLDER After retiring from the military, I exported the bike from Japan to the United States. The bike is a Canadian Spec bike and the odometer shows in Kilometers as you can see from the pictures. I have all papers regarding the purchase, import, and related documentation of the bike. The bike is titled and registered in the State of Illinois. The title is clear and I have the title in hand. The bike has never been involved in an accident or raced on a track.
