The Exterior is a perfect reproduction of the highly collectable and skyrocketing 1963 Split Window which was made only one year! Manufactured for the 1963 model year ONLY ....the Iconic Split Windows are sought after by every Corvette and Muscle Car Collector. The only giveaway on this car as being a 1964 is the VIN which is hidden in its factory location under the glove box. VIN 40837S119705 California Titled Three owner Corvette its entire life with the last owner on title for 17 years. 103,817 Original Miles since its birth. Frame on Zero Mile Restoration With a great stance on Period Correct P48 Cast Knock Off Wheels and N14 Side Exhaust it is hard to keep away admirers. The Exterior was professionally painted in the 1963 Sebring Silver Color and has a gorgeous fit and finish. It was painted in two stage paint and professionally wet sanded for two days to bring out its full luster. With the Correct Ducts on the Roof Line, the Correct Waffle Pans on the Hood, and of course the Rear Split Divider it is all perfectly done to replicate the sensational Split Window Coupe. It has a Solid body and frame with no evidence of any significant damage ever! The Exterior body gaps are a fine as any midyear Corvette we have sold! The hood, door, tonneau cover and headlight buckets all line up and fit as they should....always a dead giveaway on Midyears which have had damage to the nose and never line up properly again! The Headlight Buckets go up and down effortlessly. The Exterior Glass is all in great shape as is all the exterior trim....the only area we could critic would be the Bumperettes which are a bit hazy. A few of the knock off spinners of course have some rash and dings on them from the hammer. The Dark Blue Interior is mostly original, very tidy and a perfect compliment and classic fit with the Silver Exterior. The gauge cluster was professionally tuned and restored just recently as was the glove box door. Only the clock and radio are inop. The Engine Compartment is very tidy and correct on the small details. The Chevrolet V8 Engine is not original to the car but performs beautifully. It is equipped with the 1963 High Horse Aluminum intake #38844461 Casting Number. It also has the Correct 7 Fin Aluminum Valve Covers and the 1963 340 HP Air Cleaner Assembly. Adding to these impressive visual accessories is a 340 HP 6500 Red Line Tach and 80# Oil pressure Gauge. The Muncie M21 Manual Transmission shifts through all four gears effortlessly with the Hurst Shifter. The P48 Cast Knock Off Wheels and N14 Side Exhaust are two of the most desirable options on the mid years to give it a great sound and stance.
