This is a special opportunity for someone who wants to have the coolest of Fairlane wagons. A black 500 trim level with four speed!Factory Raven Black with Red interior, an original 260 Overdrive car with 3.80 gears. this car hauled in more ways than one right out of the factory. As it sits now, there is no engine or transmission. I have a crusty 5 bolt 289 shortblock I will include with no promises as to it's rebuilable status if buyer desires. More importantly, I also have an HEH-B toploader with shifter and most if not every last piece of the necessary Z-bar assembly to finish the clutch linkage, all of which is included. A factory red floor hump is sitting inside where the tunnel has already been cut for it, not sure who did what when, but I obtained the hump seperately and it appears a perfect match. The sheetmetal on this car is excellent, the hood has considerable surface rust, but who cares, a teardrop hood is easy to find, or a sport coupe hood could be a nice way to go. I believe all glass is good, but I will have to look closer to verify the tailgate window and condition of each pane. Interior needs completely redone but its all there. ALL GLASS IS GOOD! TAILGATE DOES NOT HAVE THE WINDOW CRANK UP MECHANISM, NOT A POWER WINDOW. To make a long story short, this collection of factory parts is the basis of a super solid project, with very few shortcomings. the leaf springs are broken, car sits low in back, jackstands are in place now,Rear bumper is severely bent in the top middle, preventing the tailgate from fully opening. No reason to assume the third member has been swapped. Great gear ratio for a small block,Needs some trim pieces like the rear taillights, I will inventory what I have and what it lacks, provide more pictures,answer any and all questions specifically and honestly. and put this car up for a short period with no reserve, but I do reserve the right to end the auction early. Not because I will sell it outside of ebay or locally, but because I may not need to sell it all depending on unrelated considerations.IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PROJECT express it early and we will complete the sale on ebay.
