I purchased this cougar a few months back. It was reported by the fella that I bought it off of that the motor was rebuilt. The motor is not fully together, heads/intake/carb are not fully bolted on. I inspected the heads , they have all new parts on them. Not original engine, looked up vin it came with a 289. The car will need restored, or some work done to make it road worthy. The front radiator cross member support is rusted. The front passenger side fender is rusted. The vin states the car was white, it is now red , you can see the original color under some of the chipped off paint. The underside is not all rusted out, floor boards etc. The shock towers look good, no rust. The best part of the car is the interior, the back seats look like new. The hide away headlight do work, I ran some vacuum to them and tried them out. Not sure about the sequential taillights, didn't try them.The rims/wheels are mismatched front/back. I have lost the keys since I bought it, will try to find them. I am sure I am missing something, Feel free to ask questions, will take pics as needed *I will be going on vacation for 2 weeks at the end of June, car will have to be picked up before 6/19 or after 7/5*
