Vehicle Detail

Honda CB750 CR750 Race Replica, very rare, very correct hand build bike. 4 stroke,in-line four,5 speed, single overhead cam (SOHC) History: In order to make an impact on the American market, Honda decided to build four racing motorcycles based on the new CB750 to compete in the 1970 Dayton 200. Three of the bikes retired with mechanical problems, but Dick Mann's "2" finished and won. Honda did not compete with the bikes again but made a number of race kits available to Honda Dealers and specialized tuners. These kits were very expensively priced at $10,000 . The bolt up kits increased the horsepower to around 90, with a redline of 12,000 rpm. (RSC) Race Service Center issued very few of these kit's. The kit was available until 1974. RSC is now HRC. * Frame: Aluminum Gas Tank from the UK (Bartels), stripes are decals, then clearcoated Monza Fuel cap, and NOS Honda petcock Aluminum oil tank from the UK , made 1974-76 , Peter Kyane Custom made oil cooler and hoses Taper roller bearings in steering head Custom installed CBX front trees New Bronze swingarm bushings, swingarm from 1975 CB750 SuperSport New Front and rear wheel bearings & seals Rear custom CBX hollow Axle Excel Flanged rims with heavy stainless spokes (Buchanan's) Wheels 18x2.15 (front) 18x2.50 (rear) Dunlop race tires KR124A (front) KR124 (rear) Front disks thinned to 5mm from 7mm Front Caliper brackets milled 2mm, New Stainless Caliper Pistons, Stainless Bleed nipples (Japan) New Rear Caliper Piston Full fairing made in the UK (Mead-Speed) , stripes and white Paint are not decals, Numbers #73 are decals and removable Custom rearsets, Replica frame brackets from M3 Racing Replica front fender (alum) hand made, Hand Riveted not bolted (all Paint , no decals) NOS fork caps & progressive springs, NOS Fork tubes, all Internal sliders, seals replaced NOS, Very hard to find K0-K1profile boots New Glass mat battery 05/2015 New voltage regulator (2-phase) Vintage Koni Rear shocks (rebuilt new oil/seals/bumpers) Powder coated springs * Engine: Factory replica Alt cover and charging stator Ducati (Germany) $850 Engine has 7k original miles, stock except for clutch springs and new plates Titanium Engine mounts and larger 2mm rear hanger bolt Custom made Velocity stacks Cam tower external valve cover bolts Small chip at the top of the cyl fins left side (see photo) Points cover is now stock Chrome OEM , see Engine Close-up, was CB900F three point mount, now removed * RSC Kit Parts Factory kit tach and floating mount Factory RSC oil pressure gauge and floating mount (Smiths) Krause kit front sprocket Factory kit exhaust (four-into-four) Purchased from M3 racing, with custom made removable baffles the pipes show racing use and have been re-worked, repaired, (See photos) Factory kit front master cyl and cap (No mirror mount), larger piston, I sold an Extra M/C last year for $550 Factory kit Right side caliper mount (Magnesium) Factory kill switch Factory clutch cable , lever and spring * Some extra parts/spares/special tools Included: Build book and Notes Honda Factory RSC CR750 build book from the UK and notes * Sold as-is, No warranty, Bill of sale only. * The Engine ran good and shifted smooth on the last test run. * Study the photos for condition. * Shipping or pick-up is the buyers responsibility, If shipping I will shrink wrap and help load. * # 34 Kevin Schwantz in photo from "Riding into History" bike show, Two years back * Additional photos are available per request, please ask * Phone number available on request * Over 5 year build and a big pot of money, Example : the wheel 's complete where over $2k * drop in a race Engine and go, or use the current motor On Jun-07-15 at 12:34:31 PDT, seller added the following information: * Also included for a rear (Pitbull Model only) are two custom designed lifting heads/pins, they bolt to the top of a Pitbull rear stand, you will need the narrow rear stand version, not the wide.
