This vehicle is being re-listed due to nonpaying buyer. I am very sorry to be selling my Samurai, but I just received orders overseas and can’t take it with me. This has been my daily driver. It is very reliable, runs very well, and all the safety related equipment works perfectly - brakes, horn, headlights, tail lights, blinkers, hazards, seat belts, etc. Both front seats and the rear seat are in great condition with no tears or cracks. The top is also in very good condition. It fits tightly, has no tears, and all of the snaps work. As you can see, the body still needs work cosmetically. The previous owner upgraded the engine to a 1.6 liter Sidekick engine. It provided quite a bit more power all by itself, but with the Suzuki GSX600F motorcycle carbs, it is a little monster. Throttle response is instant, and it has tons of power now. 70+ miles per hour on the highway is no problem at all. It also has an enricher/choke cable installed on the dash to the left of the steering wheel for easy starting on cold mornings. This has been a working project car, and while I got a lot done, there are still some things that need to be completed. For example, the thermostat for the electric fan still needs to be installed so the fan shuts off when the engine is cold (it just runs all the time now). I also started removing a paint-on bed liner that the previous owner installed, but haven’t gotten it all out yet.
