****NO RESERVE AUCTION**** Family owned since Day #1.  1983 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet with 60,012 original miles.  All stock, with matching #’s throughout.  The last year of the 911 SC and the only year the SC was made in a Cabriolet.  This vehicle was originally purchased by our family during a trip to Germany and imported back to the USA, therefor it is the Euro version.  It even has our family name on the “Imported By…” sticker in the door jamb as all the imported Porsche’s did. This Porsche was always a gem/icon in our family.  Always garaged (with cover), always maintained, waxed and babied. Then came a time when it was not driven much at all and ended up sitting for several years. After sitting for a good amount time our Porsche Mechanic who has 3 decades of experience as a master Porsche technician and exclusively working on Porsche vehicles recommended that we do a top end rebuild of the engine prior to putting it back on the road, and we did.  The engine has about 4k miles since the rebuild and runs as strong as ever, the Porsche sound is beautiful.  Starts up right away with no smoke or hesitation.  Transmission and clutch shift smoothly.  Clutch was replaced when we did the rebuild. The chain tensioners were added years ago and entire car and engine compartment are as clean as a whistle.  Not a drip of oil, bone dry.  Brand new tires with less than 500 miles on them!  Everything on the car works flawlessly.  The radio and sound system were upgraded & stock steering wheel and shifter are included as we installed new ones for better fit.  The original steering wheel & shifter can be easily reinstalled.  The original paint is Ruby Red and is in excellent condition with the exception of some REALLY small rock chips in the front bumper which are hardly even noticeable.  The first thing people notice, is how good the paint looks! The body is as straight as when it was new.  All the gaps are even and it has never been in an accident. The top is in near perfect condition with zero discoloration on on the canvas or window.  H4 Headlights have no fogging or discoloration at all.  The interior is in spectacular shape.  No tears in leather seats whatsoever, No discoloration, all in all in awesome shape.  Seats were always covered while not in use and the leather still has the classic Porsche smell.  The dash is also free of any cracks or discoloration.  The Fuchs wheels are original and were chromed as a dealer upgrade when  the car was purchased.  Not a single scratch on them.  Service records included.  As all Euro vehicles for the year, this car did not come with air conditioning.  As you will see in the photos, this car has been used for several professional magazine photo shoots.  It truly is a gem!
