NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!!!! THIS BEAUTIFUL "ROADMASTER ESTATE" WAGON WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGH BIDDER !!!!!! We are looking to receive a 300. paypal deposit upon auction close from the winning bidder. What a Beautiful "Woodie" Wagon + Such a RARE find ! This is a 16,274 mile station wagon Purchased New by an Elderly woman back on October 25, 1991 at the "Parsons Buick Company" 151 East st. Plainville, ct. We are a small dealer in Connecticut and occasionally stumble upon some unique vehicles. The woman has since passed and the vehicle was left in the estate to I believe it was her niece. She considered keeping the vehicle but found it would not be practical for her own needs so we then purchased the vehicle from her. This is a beautiful vehicle someone will really enjoy. We did aquire the original books with the vehicle. We also have some of the maintenance records for the vehicle that start once it left the original selling dealer and she started using a local garage. In the rear of the car I believe I saw a bottle of wax that came with the car from "GM" when the car was new. The car sails down the road nice as you would expect a 16,000 mile car would. I have personally been using and enjoying the car and put over 1,000 miles on it myself. Everything inside the vehicle looks to function properly right down to the air conditioning. The car has had a lot of care and doesn't appear to have been in any accidents. Although it is a beautiful car it is 24 years old and does show some minor flaws from use or time. I don't want to make the car sound damaged or poor in anyway but just don't want any one to think it is a museum piece that has been living in a bubble either. All vintage vehicles are safty checked and sold in as is condition. All our vehicles also have up to date state emmissions testing done on them required by law. Any vehicle sold to a Connecticut resident will be responsible for a 6.35 sales tax. Any out of state purchaser will not pay any sales tax to use but will pay it in their own state. A 300. paypal deposit is due immediately following auction close from the winning bidder. Balance to be paid in either check, cash or a bank to bank transfer within 3 days of auction close. Please note any check must clear our bank before the vehicle or paperwork leaves. Please also note our bank tells us any check including a certified bank check can take up to 10 business days to fully clear the financial system. Please note that the "Auto check" that ebay supplys with a car listing shows that on 09/21/2001 when the woman took her car for testing to the emmissions station the clerk just assumed a 10 year old car would have more miles than 8700 miles so they read it off as having 87,000 miles when it indeed had 8,700 miles. The mileage shows fine after that date and the repair records also reflect the cars mileage is 100% correct and that emmissions just made an error. We also did a "Car Fax" and that does not show any issue. As pictured the underside of this car is very solid. I highly doubt this car was ever driven in snow. Between the incredibly low miles and the womans age I believe it was pretty much a fair weather vehicle. It has a very nice underside. The pictures show a good example of that. If someone cared enough they could spend some time under it just doing some detailing, or just leave it like it is and enjoy it.
