You are considering an all original 1978 BMW R100S Motorcycle with 10315 original miles in original , unrestored condition. Believed to be a 2 owner bike purchased new on 8-2-80 from H & H Cycle in Eastlake Ohio. We aquired the bike from the estate of a mechanic who purchased the bike in July, 1989 . All the electronics, gauges, horns, turn signals lights all work, The paint and brightwork is in exceptional original condition. The gas tank has some minor scratches where it meets the seat. The exhaust is in excellent condition. Bike does not appear to have been ever laid down. The original tool kit, owners manual, service manuals, extra filters are included. Metzeler tires are in very good condition with no dry rot. Bike starts and runs very good! Known items needed: R100s stickers missing from side covers, right side horizontal seat trim missing, front shocks need seals. Overall an excellent original example!.
