Vehicle Detail

I bought this 1967 True SS survivor in January 1990, with 89,000+ miles on a different motor, was told it was a 350 4bolt main, but it turned out it had a 305cu in. drove it around 10,000miles then mostly parked it. Then rebuilt a 327cu in. motor, 300 horse power, balanced the pistons, 194 humpback heads, new crank and a mild cam. kept the original cast iron intake manifold, Ram horn exhaust manifolds, New stainless steel exhaust pipes from manifold to rear and flow masters mufflers, for a nice muscle car sound, w/chrome ends for good looks, Installed Edelbrock valve covers and a Edelbrock high performance 4-barrel carburetor automatic choke. Electronic ignition, 14"x 3" K&N air filter w/Chevy bowtie wing nut and chrome container, Installed Stewart-Warner oil pressure and temperature gauges cleanly under the glove box, the original super tough 2 speed Power-glide Automatic with original shifter console between the bucket seats, can drive it 50mph in 1st gear. Custom oil pan that allows the front end connecting rod clearance, new 3core radiator, shroud and Blue steel fan, all new radiator and heater hoses, rebuilt heater core, heater fan works good, the original 10bolt positraction differential installed a chrome cover, new 5yr Battery, new starter, new alternator and belt, all new front end bushing and tie rod ends, hand scraped and painted black front end control arms and all front end parts, new coil springs, new shocks in front, air shocks in back, all new brake shoes and rotors turned, new wiper spray motor, clean no cracks in Windshield, new dash and seats are black cloth with a white stripe down the center, on buckets and back seats, NO sticky seats in the summer and NO cold seats in the winter (nice), new seat belts in the front seats only, Door panels is like new, the rug is like new, and new SS Nova custom floor mats, AM-FM Chevy bowtie cassette player, and 3way speakers in back panel, Custom Side body molding both sides all along the car, the body was stripped down to metal, and no rust was found, there was a repair on passenger side quarter panel, underneath other then that it was in great shape! 4yr old paint job, and it has been garaged the whole time, head liner was in pretty good shape, comes with a original hood with a hole cut out, that had a cracked plastic air induction, found a 66 hood and painted it to match rest of car, body shop forgot to fill in holes where the 66 Chevy emblem was, so I had to find a 66 rare Chevy emblem in great shape and installed it to fill in holes in hood, "( I believe it looks good and unique)" with a new fiberglass liner backside of hood. The tires have about 750miles on 205/70r/14 Cooper tires, with corvette rally wheels, in the trunk are 4 original SS hub caps, lug wrench, and a hydraulic jack. Drive line was balanced and new U-joints. I have always liked the Chevy II series box Nova's and I enjoyed restoring this car, and I wanted to complete it by installing the Air conditioning compressor and dryer because it does have a factory interior duct system already on the interior dash, but I never got around to it! I don't drive this car but around the block as to not let it sit for to long, so I decided to sell it, and move on. It has been with me for 25 yrs with a lot of memories through good times and bad times, and it won't be easy to part with it, but I feel that the next person that I sell it to will do good things with it and enjoy it as much as I did! When I drive it around town since you don't see these cars anywhere people give me the thumbs up or do double takes, pretty neat! So if I don't get close to the asking price I just don't want to sell it, this car will definitely hold it's value Thanks for reading and checking it out!
