Up for auction (at NO RESERVE) is an exceptionally clean and highly maintained 2007 Corvette. As the most iconic American made sports car, this C6 corvette doesn't need any introductions. Bought new in may of 2007 this 1 owner car has been babied and pampered since day one. The orange paint (best color offered in my opinion) is in flawless condition with no known scratches, dings, or blemishes. The coupe with targa top is really the best of both worlds. It maintains the beautiful styling lines of the coupe with the large slanted rear window and still offers the ability to enjoy the weather with the top off without the maintenance of a cloth top. The LS2 motor provides plenty of power and the 6 speed manual trans is in great shape and has no clutch issues. There is no doubt that corvettes are popular and have a large following, but this one allows you to stand apart from the usual crowd of black, red, silver, and yellow cars that flood the market. The interior is equally as clean as the exterior and shows very very little signs of wear, no rips, stains, or other flaws to speak of. As you scroll through the 120 photos it shouldn't take long to notice that this car is slightly different that other base vettes, and has had some significant upgrades. This car is draped in all the z06 goodies to include stylish body panels, wheels, seats, and upgraded z06 suspension. Every vette from the factory should have came equipped with the body panels the z06 did. The subtle changes offer a more sporty and aggressive look as well as enhance cooling of the engine and brakes. Why has this been done you ask? The short answer is why not...it looks better, preforms better, and handles better...I know what you may be thinking...different body panels may indicate damage at some time or possible accident. This is not the case. This car has a flawless history and has never been in ANY accidents. The not so short story as to why the enhancements were made is this...Working for Pratt and Miller the parts were available. Pratt and Miller is the company that builds and maintains the cars for Team Corvette. On top of building high end corvette race cars, they also produced a Corvette C6RS that resembles and shares components with the C6R race cars. To obtain a C6RS, a consumer must furnish Pratt and Miller with their Z06 corvette donor car. Then the experts go to work transforming the Z06 into a 600hp C6R resembling street car with top speeds in excess of 200mph. In an event of luck and good fortune, one of the donor cars happened to be an orange z06!! With the donor car there, my car there, and the best group of corvette experts on hand...some body panels, wheels, accents, suspension, and interior found their way onto my car (couldn't snag the motor :( ). Of course all the work was done with utmost care and attention to detail (these guys build these things for a living) and no paint or other work was needed. Like a match made in heaven the wonderful corvette you see in this listing was created. It looks better, handles better, rides better, and with slightly better performance than its previous form. Although this car has 75k miles, it doesn't look as though it has more than 10k. Its been maintained by the the best guys in corvette and has never missed a service. The vast majority of the miles are highway taking trips to see races in indy and various other locations across the U.S. as well as multiple trips to florida. This car has been babied and well cared for. It was never beat on, raced, or put on the track. Not a hard mile on her, it was used for enjoyable leisure cruising and touring. It is in 100% tip top shape and will please and satisfy whomever buys it. This is a great looking car with many many years of life left in her.
