Vehicle Detail

Sorry for the relist, I had some trouble uploading photos to the auction. For auction on eBay is a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. This is an unusual 69 as it is an A15 Spring Special Roadrunner. It's a 383, 4 speed car as well. Only 1.9% of all Roadrunner hardtops were part of the Spring Special package. That's approximately 876 produced, and they are hard to find. The A15 Roadrunner comes with Hood stripes, upper body stripes in red or white, red line tires, No vinyl roof and belt moldings standard with the package. From what I've read this package came out to drive up sales in the spring of '69. This particular Roadrunner is even more unusual as it has B5 blue paint with a red upper body stripe(V6R) from the factory. It looks awesome on the bright blue paint. I have only seen one other with this combo and it was an automatic car. Look around you will not find but a handful that come up for sale over the span of several years. This is a fresh restoration with only about 20 miles to date on the vehicle. Completed in the last 3 weeks so everything is clean and ready to go. The car has an extensive list of parts that are new. I will post a TON of information along with plenty of pictures to show exactly what has been done to the vehicle. Every aspect of the car has had some attention. Please read it all and go through all the pictures, as this isn't your average car for sale on eBay. What separates this car from other Roadrunners for sale is its rarity and also the amount of time and effort that has went into this car. I will show lots of pictures of the car done and while undergoing some of the restoration. Also, the underneath of this car has had a lot of attention put into it as well. Most cars you will find the underneath has been completely neglected. I will go through each section of the car to give you the most accurate description of what has been done. This way you will know exactly what has been done, and I will provide enough pictures to back up what has been described. Please ask any and all questions, I'm happy to answer them. I know even with as much info is on this ad, that I have forgot to mention a lot of parts that has been replaced. Why over spend on a car that may only be half completed with a quick paint job and some interior work? Here's the best part! Its on a NO reserve! That's right, it will start very low and sell to the highest bidder. All that I ask is that you place a bid only for the amount you can afford to pay. When the auction is over the car will sell to the highest bidder, no matter what the price gets to. So once again, only bid what you can pay. The car will sell for fair market value, whatever that may be. This is a REAL opportunity to own a beautiful 1969 Road Runner! I've invested more than I could ever get back, so my loss is your gain. Body- The exterior of the car has mostly new or rechromed parts. It has new marker lights and lens, rechromed bumpers, wheel lip moldings, Reflective Red stripe, emblems, windshield, door locks, pentastar emblem on Right fender, and roadrunner decals. Car does not have any rust and does have its original trunk floor. Car was completely disassembled and stripped down before paint. Paint- Paint is the original color, B5, Bright Blue Poly. It is really a beautiful Blue. The paint is PPG Basecoat / Clear coat, and was color sanded and buffed. Has a beautiful wet look to the paint. The car is very straight and the body lines are sharp. The paint is in excellent shape and is fresh, with only 20 miles on everything. The car has only 1 repaint on the car and has never been any other color. All of the jams, including trunk and engine bay were also painted to match the outsideWheels- Has brand new F70 Red Line tires with stock steel wheels and dog dish hub caps. The red lines were put on to give it a factory look with the tire that would have came on this car. Interior- Interior has all seat covers and door panels. Also has new carpet, dash pad, headliner, package tray and trunk mat. The interior was completely stripped out including the dash before paint. . Has the original AM radio installed. No speakers were installed so the new owner can put whatever radio suits them or add speakers and run the AM radio. Underside- This is a factory full body undercoat car ( I have pictures before being resprayed). The underside was professionally undercoated after paint with everything removed from car (unibody car so no such thing as a frame off). The underside was completely resprayed and duplicated how it was done originally. The underside is as clean as it gets. Not a spec of rust or dirt. I would say you could eat off the bottom of this car, but thats pretty ridiculous. It is however, as clean as it gets. Suspension- All new front and rear suspension. New upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, strut rod bushings, upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and front shocks. Rear has new leaf spring shackles and bushings, and shocks. All suspension parts were cleaned and bead blasted, then painted back to correct colors of the suspension according to how we saw it when the parts were pressure washed. All suspension parts were put back with the factory inspection marks that were on the original parts. Torsion bars, rear end, shocks, springs all got the inspection marks we could find or replicate. Very few cars out there get this attention to detail. Brakes- The brakes are 100% all new. All the backing plates and brake parts were blasted then cleared to keep their natural finish. New brake shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, front to rear brake line, and all rubber hoses were replaced. Electrical- All of the electrical on the car has had attention. It has new tail light wiring harness, engine wiring harness, and front headlight wiring harness. The main dash harness was completely restored as well and tested. Engine- Has a 383 HP Motor that has been rebuilt with about 5k miles on it. The motor is now .30 over. It was built to stock specs with the exception of a purple shaft cam. All accessories on the motor are brand new. Motor has 70lbs of oil pressure and runs great. It has 20 miles on the motor and was correctly broke in. Has new alternator, starter, sensors, belts, hoses, gaskets, power steering pump, spark plugs, wires, distributor, etc. The motor is not numbers matching.Transmission- Completely rebuilt 23 spline 4 speed transmission. It is date correct, 1969, however it is not original to this car. I had all the internals replaced and works great. Fully rebuilt and fresh. It has all new 11" clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, shift rods, 4 speed handle, 4 speed mechanism. All new bushings, clips , adjusting rod, and hardware. New shift boot and bezel as well. 4 speed also has correct markings that it had from 1969. Has correct bell housing and a new bellhousing cover, fork and flywheel. The set up is completely new.Driveline- A completely rebuilt driveline with new u joints, new front yoke and speed balanced for a smooth ride on the highway.Rear end- Original 8 3/4 rear end with fresh fluid. Misc- Correct battery hold down. Has correct positive/negative battery cables. New wiper washer bottle with new motor. New voltage regulator, starter relay, ballast resistor. All wires in the correct looms that the factory used. All hardware is new as well. Has new Purple Roadrunner BEEP BEEP horn. New weatherstrip on trunk, doors and roof. Glass- Has new front windshield with new gasket. Side windows and rear window is original to the car. I've lubricated all moving parts and all windows roll up and down as they should. TERMS OF AUCTION- Canada and Overseas bidders are welcome to bid Buyer to pay non refundable deposit through paypal of $500.00 , within 48 hours of auctions end. The car is sold by me, a private owner, and comes with no warranties expressed or written. The car is accurately described to the best of my ability and plenty of pictures have been provided to show the true condition of the car. The car is sold as is, where is, with no exceptions. I'm very easy to deal with and have 100% feedback on ebay. I also have some other references of cars Ive done for people in the past. The private auctions in my feedback are all cars I've sold in the past. I provide a lot of information and pictures to avoid any problems and for the buyer to know EXACTLY what they are getting.
