This vehicle is nearly perfect inside and out. The interior is like the day that this vehicle was purchased. All the seats are firm, non-smoker, pet free, and stain free. All functions are properly working on the interior that includes: A/C, power windows/locks/mirrors, cruise control, head/fog lights, interior lights, radio, and CD/Tape player. The imperfections can be seen in the pictures. A worn driver mat, small bolster wear the size of a fingernail, and a color wash on the passenger seat are the only blemishes that keep this car from pure perfection.
The exterior of the vehicle is in well above average condition. The smooth Super Red paint shows clean and glossy. The wheels and tires look brand new; tires were replaced in 12'-13'. There is one ding on the entire car and this is towards the bottom of the driver door, easily fixable. The pop up head lights are in perfect working order, the bodylines are clean and nice. All the VIN stickers are present on every panel, the factory stickers and decals are all intact, and the laser etched VIN codes are all visible on every glass window. The windows are all original including the windshield. There is one small chip towards the bottom center of the windshield.
The engine is in perfect running condition along with the manual transmission. The smooth shifting transmission and clutch, turbo spools, mid engine sounds are pure bliss in this Toyota MR2 Turbo. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 32K Miles, there are no leaks, and mechanically this vehicle is in perfect condition. All the brakes, suspension, and exhaust are like the day this car was purchased. The drive is excellent; the steering wheel is straight and true. The vehicle steering is so tight just the smallest movements will make the car respond to the driver. There is nothing quite like it. A rear wheel drive, mid engine vehicle weighing just over 2,000 pounds is a pure joy on any terrain.
This is a truly amazing car, and a privilege to own a piece of Toyota and Japanese car history.
