Vehicle Detail

The truck is almost twenty years old and it shows its age. The engine needs work, but it is in working condition. The exterior has some paint peeling and it has a few dings and dents here and there. The Leer utility camper ($1500 brand new) is only about 4 years old and is in excellent condition. The truck has a brake controller, a 7-pin electric connector and a heavy duty hitch. On May-22-15 at 14:52:23 PDT, seller added the following information: The truck is almost twenty years old and it shows its age. The Leer utility camper ($1500 brand new) is only about 4 years old and is in excellent condition. got this truck from a family member about four ago years and during that time, we've maintained it as well as we could. During those years, we used it to haul video production gear here and there in San Francisco and maybe to some neighboring cities from time to time. It's always performed well, but on one of the jobs last week enroute to Mountain View, it overheated. We had it towed to the shop and our mechanic said that the engine was just old and that for our small video company, it might be a bit too high maintenance for our operation. It works and runs fine, but I'd rather not have to deal with babying it, especially when we have deadlines to meet. It'll require someone that knows about engines, maintenance and being handy for it to be a good fit. In that regard, this will do you well. I'm not much of a motor head, but it can be rewarding getting this up to speed and enjoy it for many years to come. The body is great, no rust. I don't know why Dodge trucks from this period has paint peeling, but it is peeling in several areas. The interior of the truck is very good and the headliner was replaced when I took it over four years ago. At that time, I also got the utility camper to keep the gear secure, so that's in really good shape. The tow hitch is heavy duty, so it's tow ready with a seven pin connector and brake controller. I also replaced the tires when I got the truck so it's at its midlife. We didn't drive it that much. Before I inherited this truck, it lived in Sacramento where it got a lot of freeway miles, thus the high mileage. Only three of us drove this regularly. If I had the skill and knowledge to work on engines, I'd have no hesitation to keep it, but I'm just not that talented. So, hopefully it'll end up with someone that'll appreciate it. It's never failed us before either. I hope that gives you and anyone else who reads this some context of this vehicle's history of its recent duty.
